My students are amazing.
They work hard to persevere through challenges and to meet their goals in the areas of language, articulation, fluency and social communication.
I work with students in kindergarten through sixth grade, providing direct individualized instruction on skills they need in order to be successful in their academic environment.
Together we work on vocabulary, sentence structure, listening comprehension, and narrative skills. We practice difficult speech sounds, smooth speaking fluency, social skills, behavior regulation and executive functioning skills. My students work hard, they have fun, and they are very proud of the progress they make.
My Project
Superflex is a self regulation hero that helps give kids strategies to defeat the unthinkable villains. Some of these villains include Rock Brain who make your brain get stuck on an idea and unable to move on and One Sided Sid who make you take over conversations. Superflex saves the day with strategies to overcome these real life challenges. This social thinking curriculum is so fantastic for elementary age students working on self regulation and social skills. It is fun and engaging (heroes and villains) and it also gives examples of real, practical strategies they can use when they are struggling with these self regulation skills and social skills concepts.
