Thanks to your support, what was once a dream (formerly named the Honey Pot) is now a thriving, warm, and welcoming space that's having a significant impact on our students' well-being.\r\n\r\nSince opening, the Wellness Lodge has served 362 individual students through scheduled weekly sessions and flex passes—giving teachers the ability to send students during designated classroom times. This flexibility has created a consistent and trusted support system for our students.\r\n\r\nThe reactions from our students have been nothing short of inspiring. Every time they enter the Wellness Room, their faces light up with awe. The calming lights, cozy seating, and thoughtfully arranged spaces—made possible through your donations— creating a peaceful, inviting atmosphere. Many students have expressed that Wellness time is their favorite part of the week, and we've seen noticeable improvements in attendance, school morale, and positive classroom behavior.\r\n\r\nInside the Wellness Lodge, students can choose from a variety of sensory stations before engaging in their weekly social-emotional learning lesson. Currently, we are focusing on Zones of Regulation, helping students identify how their bodies are feeling and learning strategies to regulate emotions. We've even expanded wellness practices into the hallways, with sensory break spots featuring right-brain/left-brain activities, breathing techniques, and movement-based resets—all tools to promote focus and learning readiness.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, the Pawsitive Wellness Lodge has become more than just a room—it's a safe haven and a key part of our school culture. Teachers have reported students actively using calming strategies they've learned, and students eagerly look forward to their visits each week.
