Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting self-regulating tools for elementary aged children to learn how to control their emotions and feelings. The tools will be a wonderful addition to my working one-on-one with the children in their classroom as well as in my office.

The sensory toys, crafts, music, and self-regulation cards will assist the children to learn about emotions and feelings and to take ownership of them.

The children have no knowledge or skills of how to self regulate currently, and the tools will be advantageous to their learning. Stickers will be used as incentives and rewards.

The supplies and tools requested would be a wonderful addition to the hands on supplies I can use to help these struggling children learn how to control their emotions and feelings in a calm and collective manner while attending school.
