Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

A student in crisis, or in an emotional distress can not adequately learn. Many of our students are dealing with big feelings. We love to celebrate all emotions, but our students need to learn safe ways to express their feelings without destruction or harming themselves or others. Students need tools to regulate their bodies so they can get back to learning.

We explicitly teach calming techniques so that all can be safe and students can get back to a regulated state for learning.

Tools are needed. Please support our effort by donating to the students at Lincoln International Studies school.
