My Project

I teach a class of students with severe multiple disabilities. These disabilities ranges from vision and hearing impairments, traumatic brain injury, celebral palsy, and etc. Most of my students lack the skill of self feeding.

My students need snacks and food that they can eat to assist with self feeding.

Some of the snacks will be used to allow my students pick up the food from the table tray. Some of the food will give my students a chance to practice using a spoon and putting the food in their mouths without spilling. Both also allow students with sensitive sensory needs expand their horizons.

Self feeding is a critical skill for my students. Self-feeding allows them to gain more independency.
