My students come from various back rounds and from different grade levels, as I am the Choices teacher . My students are not bad children but they do not always choose or know how to do make the right choices. My students face many diversities in their lives such as anger issues, self, esteem issues, or divorce or poverty. My students may come to me for one reason but my goal is to help them get on track and succeed like I know each one is capable of.
My Project

The various books I have chosen will help them navigate the emotional roller coaster children and teens go through on a daily basis. The books and work books I have chosen will help them realize that their emotions are real and okay but its the way we handle them is what matters. Its in my hopes that if they do not want to talk to someone they will see the books and read them and maybe that will help them open up to a trusted adult or the guidance counselor because once the mental needs of a child are met then the academics will follow quickly. My students who come to me are not bad they just might not make the right choice because they do not know how.
