Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We often hear adults suggesting self-care, but our children can benefit from self-care as well. This project would provide peace and serenity for students to relax and unwind during difficult times without interrupting the classroom setting.

Like adults, children need self-care too!

The essential oil can assist with calming students' mind and body during a stressful day. The books can give them the encouragement they need when they are not feeling their best self. The journals would provide a time for them to write down how they are feeling. The sound of the water from the water fountain can calm their anxiety and nerves.
