My Project

My job has a lot of moving bodies. Students are constantly practicing their skills throughout our many units. I would love this iPad for students to use as an assessment. They would video each other while practicing their skills during the units focusing on a specific rubric and what they need to accomplish by the end.

I would love for students to have ownership in their skill development.

Students will get an opportunity to work in a group using the iPad to record each other. They will take the video and go through their checklist to see what they have achieve towards mastery and what they still need to work on.

The use of an iPad will not only give them ownership of their learning but will also incorporate collaboration and communication skills. These are two important skills in themselves that students need to learn.

Mrs. Weavers will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by September 1.
