Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal is to guide students towards developing strong social, emotional, and learning skills. As the safe school professional (i.e. mental health professional) I would like to have tools, resources, activities, and games that will assist me with promoting students' emotional intelligence, resilience, leadership, and relationship skills.

All students deserve the opportunity to participate in a healthy learning environment that will help them as they navigate the world.

By providing the tools they need to express their thoughts and feeling despite the challenges they might face in a positive way, I help students learn healthy ways to express their emotions. We can share stories and ice breaking activities.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
