Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With the addition of a wide variety of sensory items to our classroom, students will continue to work on regulating their emotions as well as have specific items that can assist in their self-regulation skills.

Some of the various benefits of sensory items are stress reduction, improving self awareness, refine gross and fine motor skills, learn cause and effect, develop social skills, and increase self-confidence.

These sensory items will allow for a variety of items and activities for students to choose from which will increase students engagement, meet their individual sensory needs, and boost their self-confidence.
