My Project

My classroom supports students who need help managing their emotions so they can get back to learning. These students use a variety of strategies to help them maintain themselves. From using fidgets, taking space in a beanbag, to being creative, once a student finds a strategy to keep themselves calm so they can get back to class, it is amazing! These students aha moments include finding what keeps them calm and focused. Social, emotional learning is such an important role in all students' education. It is wonderful that schools are not only recognizing this but taking action to support it!
