My Students

The students in my class come from a variety of backgrounds. They differ in race, religion, and socioeconomic levels. Every day many of them encounter challenges that are beyond their control. Despite this, they are smart, caring, respectful, and eager to learn every day.

Learning today, leading tomorrow.

My students have dreams to change the world for the better. All of my students want to graduate high school. They want to go to college and be doctors, teachers, scientists, and policemen.

My Project

Currently, I have students face to face and remote. Seesaw allows me to do many assignments paperless which helps ensure everyone is getting the same thing, but also we are prepared in the event schools need to move to all virtual again.

Seesaw allows me to engage my students and document students' learning through a journal where they can easily add text, pictures, audio, video and drawings.

I primarily will use Seesaw for phonics, fluency and small group instruction. Seesaw creates accountability for each student while allowing me to be more time efficient. Since Seesaw is completely digital parents can easily access what their child has done at any time as well.
