My Students

This year more than ever we are trying to do our best with online learning. I am teaching at a Kindergarten/First Grade school in a small high poverty town. My class of twenty first graders come from all backgrounds and are eager to learn, excited about school and always smiling when we have learning time over our zoom calls this year. I want to keep the learning exciting and engaging for them. These students have such a love for learning!

The Seesaw learning app is an excellent way to do this during our remote learning situation and a wonderful communication tool for these young learners!

My Project

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are in a remote-learning environment. The Seesaw program will help provide engaging learning activities and practice for my students while learning from home. Students are able to access the program through their smart device by using the app. This program helps all students engage with the content being taught.

The Seesaw Learning App enables teachers and students to work closely together in an engaging and effective remote learning situation.

Seesaw has features help teachers record assessments on student work and understand student progress, helping inform instruction and give all students the necessary content and instruction so all learners are successful.
