My first graders are vibrant, energetic and full of life. Each morning they enter with a smile and ready to learn. Living in a high poverty area, these kids receive free breakfast and lunch each day, and some may consider school their 'safe place'. I want my classroom to be a reason these students look forward to coming to school to. In our room, my students are engaged and excited about learning!
