This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have many music students that I see throughout the course of the week, and they always amaze me with their enthusiasm and effort in music class. We learn a lot, have fun, and make tons of music in my class and need materials that will give them the best experience possible.

My Project

This Yamaha digital piano would give all of my students from Pre-K to 8th grade valuable musical experiences. For the younger grades, this piano will allow me to accompany students while they sing and play instruments in class and for concerts. Then for my older students, they will get the chance to play a high-quality weighted-key piano if they are interested in learning more about the instrument and using it to play solos or in a group setting. This piano would get a lot of use for every grade that I teach and would be a mainstay in my classroom.
