My Project
No one can deny the power of books. A great book can do such wonders. It entertains and inspires. It transforms our perspectives and guides us to live our best lives. My diverse group of 5th graders are prolific readers who receive endless pleasure from reading and listening to stories.
Undoubtedly, it would bring joy for my students to see their culture and heritage reflected in the books they read and listen to. These new books will provide them with just that - the opportunity to see themselves in our books.
