My students come from a variety of different backgrounds, heritages, and home lives. We range from students who are in foster care, to those being raised by both of their parents. Over a third of our families live under the federal poverty limits. For these reasons, many students don't have the supplies they need, which is why we need your help.
Please help support our class and help give all of my class kiddos a chance at a better future.
I want all my students to be successful in school. When you support our class, you are helping me make sure that is a reality for all my students.
Some of my students have stories that no child should ever be able to tell. My heart breaks as I hear some of the things that they have lived through. Things that even as an adult, I cannot even imagine. Many of our kids have a parent in one of the neighboring prisons.
We are soon going to be learning about the plant life cycle. To help this come to life, we are asking for Glow and Grow Terrariums for each of our students to use at home.
This will allow students to see the growing process of plants as we learn about the plant lifecycle.
Having and creating their own terrariums will allow students to be creative as they create a habitat for their plants.
As we were in the middle of science curriculum adoption when we began online learning, we do not have a good science curriculum. This is why I'm asking for Teachers Pay Teachers units in soil and plant life cycles. Thank you for your support in this project.
