Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach a specialized preschool class. My students are three to five years old with special needs. The majority of my students are language delayed. Some students have other needs including language impairment and/or autism. All of my students receive free or reduced lunch. Our school is a Title I school in a low socioeconomic area.

We love to learn by singing, dancing, playing and exploring.

Every student learns at their own pace. The class is very active. Much of the curriculum is individualized and boy are we learning a lot!!

My Project

We need a computer without mouse dependency. My little ones are not able to manipulate the mouse. The HP All-in-One 21.5" Full HD IPS Touchscreen Desktop PC offers a large 24' screen for everyone to see what is happening and the Touchscreen allows for kid interaction without support.

All children want to be able to do it themselves!

Having this computer in our class will give them tons of freedom. We use a computer based program for learning on my laptop which is so small for them to share. I could also use it in groups for them to Starfall or ABC Mouse.
