Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school strives to provide our students with the resources they need to excel and explore their full potential. However, these materials are at risk of damage or loss without proper storage and protection. Therefore, we seek your support to ensure the longevity of our learning materials through secure storage solutions, particularly benefiting students of low socioeconomic status and the Hispanic population.

We are requesting durable storage containers, an electronics storage cart, and protective sleeves to help protect our curtain materials.

By safeguarding our Micro:bits, painting supplies, and Wacom tablets, we aim to provide long-term access to learning resources for students from low socioeconomic backgrounds, reducing the financial burden on their families and ensuring continuity in their education. Proper storage solutions will help preserve important educational materials, ensuring that all students have access to well-maintained resources that reflect and celebrate their heritage, fostering a sense of inclusion and cultural appreciation.

Our primary goal is to establish a sustainable system to preserve educational materials that will benefit students of low socioeconomic status and the Hispanic and Native American populations. Specifically, we aim to bridge the educational resource gap and provide equal learning opportunities for students from low socioeconomic backgrounds and the Hispanic and Native American communities.

Our student body includes many students from low socioeconomic backgrounds and a vibrant Hispanic and Native American population, all contributing to a rich tapestry of cultural diversity. Many of our students overcome significant obstacles to pursue their education, demonstrating admirable resilience and determination to overcome everyday challenges.

By supporting this project, you are preserving learning materials and nurturing the growth and development of these exceptional students. Thank you for considering our cause and helping us safeguard the future of education for these special students.
