My Students

This year I am following my students to second grade. I am excited to get to know them in person. We are all excited to learn and start second grade.

My class consists of 20 amazing students!

My school is all about being a community and working and growing together. They have grown so much as learners, and it would be great to be able to provide them with more opportunities and supplies to benefit their needs.

My Project

School may look a little different, but the power of books remains the same.

Stories always bring us together.

It's no secret how much we love books in room 103. This project features a mix of newly published books and some older favorites. Every book contains many different teaching points for reading, writing, phonics, vocabulary, and many more.

Stories can help build class culture and provide mirrors and windows for students to see themselves and others.

We are just reading and reading every day and the students need more books for their independent reading time.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
