My Students

I teach second grade at a Title I school in Michigan. My students are always so excited to learn new things. My goal is to provide them with multiple ways to learn and show their learning. This year, my students have a wide range of abilities and instructional needs. I need ways to help best reach them as learners.

My students are a fantastic group of kids who enjoy learning.

I am on a mission to pass on my love of learning to my students. My classroom is a haven for them. I want to provide many fun and engaging learning opportunities for them, along with a comforting environment.

My Project

Everyday in my classroom we have what we like to call a "secret student." This students will be watched to see if they follow our classroom and school expectations. If they have an amazing day, the get a special treat and note home about how amazing they were.

My students are always trying their best because they never know who is going to be the secret student.

This behavior management strategy has been very helpful in my classroom. My students would love these prizes of candy, squishes, gum, and erasers. These are many of the things that they would love to earn. I know that they are going to be on their best behavior if they have the opportunity to earn these prizes.
