This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school year consists of a fall and spring semester. Students in the fall always get fresh, brand new, out-of-the-box items and second semester students are often left with whatever is left over. I try my hardest to divide materials and save newer items for spring-semester students, but it unfortunately does not always work out. Students throughout the entire year deserve to have brand new items and these items will help my students finish the school year strong.
Since second semester has started, students have been requesting items to make the classroom more comfortable and make it easier to complete their classwork.
Some items needs to be completely replaced because they ran out like lotion and tissues or have been well loved by students throughout the year like our light tables. Other items are specific requests from the students because they believe the items will help them be more successful.
