We are just about at the halfway point for the school year and my class is a semester course. The new semester brings new students for each of my six courses. I am requesting various items to use for the second half of the school year with my new students. The earbuds can be used with each student's Chromebook. This is helpful when students need to watch videos for research, listen to music to stay focused, or listen to translations in English if it is an unfamiliar language to them. The ziplock bags will be used to store the individual earbuds. Each class will have a storage tub to put the baggies and earbuds in for safe storage every class. Pencils are always, always needed. I like to have pencils on hand for students to use in class, but also to take with them to other classes if they need them. Finally, the disinfectant wipes, soap, and sanitizer will be used to keep students healthy and in class throughout the winter months.
I am excited to meet my new students and I appreciate any support to make this a wonderful semester for them.
