This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have learned that most people are motivated by incentives. Students are mostly motivated by incentives. If I ask students a question or ask them to do something, without a reward involved, it is very hard to get a lot of students to participate. If I give out incentives as a result of participation, I have a lot more students willing to participate in class.

Students are extremely grateful to receive something for their willingness to participate.

Students are most motivated by food. I want to be able to offer them some of their favorite snacks.
