My Project

Imagine moving to the United States from another country, to a new home and school and you don't speak any English! This can be traumatic and difficult for children to adjust.

I would like to create a shelf of hands-on, beginning resources for our "New Comers" so when they come to school, they feel welcome and involved.

The requested materials will give our students the opportunity to have engaging and educational tools that will help them feel a part of the classroom community and give them opportunities to interact with their peers. These puzzles, Snap-n-Learn activities and dry erase sleeves will allow our "New Comers" the opportunity to feel involved while learning letters, shapes, colors and numbers. These materials will be available for our entire 3rd grade so all students have an opportunity to learn.
