Second Graders Teach Their Learning Buddies

Help me give my students learning buddies! These stuffed animals will available for my second graders to adopt and learn with throughout the year. They get to take them home at the end of the year.

My Project

Second graders still love to use their imaginations as they are becoming independent learners. I have my students adopt a stuffed animal during the year to be their learning buddy. These stuffed animals purchased will allow me to continue this project.

Learning buddies fosters the students to be responsible, creative, and reinforce their learning.

My second graders will teach the concepts they are learning to their buddies. This helps to make their learning go deeper because they are teaching it to someone else.

It is one my students favorite things to do in second grade. I always get feedback how much they love their buddies. They get to take them home on the last day of school.
