Our students have truly enjoyed the engaging, interactive topics presented in each weekly issue. They eagerly look forward to reading the magazines every Monday and are always excited to discover what they will be learning about next.\r\n\r\nOne of the greatest benefits of the Scholastic Newsletters is how closely the monthly topics align with our reading curriculum, while also connecting to holidays and annual events. These newsletters have helped my First Grade students develop a love for nonfiction reading as they learn new and interesting information in a meaningful and age-appropriate way.\r\n\r\nIn addition to the weekly print newsletters, my students greatly benefit from the digital comprehension skill sheets and activities. These resources support the development of essential comprehension skills in a fun, interactive manner that truly resonates with young learners. Students are building a strong understanding of text features, sequencing events, and retelling facts in their own words, which also supports the growth of their individual writing skills.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our daily literacy rotations are more engaging, interactive, and enjoyable for our First Graders. We sincerely appreciate your commitment to encouraging young scholars to read for both learning and enjoyment.
