My Students

My wonderful class is full of enthusiastic 2nd graders who have a love for learning and a thirst for knowledge. They come from various socioeconomic backgrounds. From the moment they step foot in the classroom to the dismissal bell, my students are ready to learn and enjoy hands on activities.

Having some students that need assisted technology, the class is eager to embrace Google classroom for many of their assignments.

My goal is to stay one step ahead of my students, and keep everyone engaged in all subjects with use of technology.

My Project

I have access to so many programs and great websites that I can't teach from because of not having enough computers. My goal is to get enough Chromebooks for everyone in the class.

The students are proficient with tablets and gaming, but not keyboarding, word processing skills, and research.

Having computers will allow me to teach all subject areas, including technology, by providing hands-on, immediate practice.

There are also many websites that I can teach from and students can respond on the computer. This would allow me to constantly monitor and give the students immediate feedback.

This generation of students is so different from years past. They require constant engagement and a variety of teaching methods. These Chromebooks will help us get there.
