My Project
The classroom environment sets the tone for learning, especially in early elementary school. This includes the physical space and also the mindset of students. My intention with this project is to use the concept of superheroes for both the visible (walls, materials) and invisible (students' mindset) spaces to provide an exciting, inviting and successful work place for all students.
Who doesn't want to be a superhero?
Second graders love superheroes, and this project will help them realize that they can be and are superheroes. The pocket chart, calendar, and bulletin board will provide a visual environment to support the second grade superheroes. The cups and water bottle covers will be used to hydrate the superheroes as the expend energy learning. The incentive chart and stickers will remind students of the great choices they are making.
