My Project

I am a first-year science and social studies teacher in second grade. Social studies materials are hard to come by.

Our school has very few resources.

When I design my social studies lessons, I have to pull stuff from everywhere. I am requesting poster boards for my students because they use them for several different activities including making campaign posters when we study the election process and how to be a good citizen posters when we are studying that.

I have requested several workbooks that are related to the material I teach in second-grade social studies. We study maps, colonial America, colonization, the basics of economics, and more. Having access to these workbooks will give me a variety of resources to pull from.
