If I could describe my classroom in five words, they would be engaging, community, passionate, brilliant, and loving. Each and every day, I do my best to provide an environment for my students that is engaging. Our classroom is a loving community of brilliant and passionate young learners from all different walks of life.
In our classroom, we work on building and growing in our community around the things we share and have in common.
Working in a small, Title I school in rural Virginia, my young learners enter the classroom each day excited to build new relationships, expand their knowledge in all subject areas, learn, work, and play each and every day. Every single day, we celebrate each other and our little wins together.
My Project
Teaching the life cycle in our second grade classroom is one of my favorite topics! I love making learning come to life in our second grade classroom. For this project, I am asking for click-and-grow pods for our Smart Gardens. Smart Gardens are gardens that we use inside of our classroom where we can grow plants and vegetables.
Having Smart Garden pods in our second grade classroom would make plant life cycles come to life right in our classroom!
I want my students to fully experience the plant life cycle stages by watching plants and vegetables grow before us each and everyday!
