The students at my school are an amazing group of diverse learners. Each day, my students work hard to learn more about the world around them, and to share with each other the rich knowledge they already hold.
I want to provide everything my students need in order to succeed.
Beginning in February, we will be returning to in-person learning. This year looks very different from previous years, and therefore the entire second-grade team at our school requires some new supplies. This supply list has been carefully chosen to keep students safe while engaging in important learning in the physical classroom. Thank you for your support!
My Project
Thank you so much for supporting our original project, "Second Grade Return to Learning Kit!" Your generosity actually supplied us with more funds that we originally needed to provide learning tools for our students when they return to the classroom. As our return date has gotten closer, the second grade teachers have discovered that a few more supplies will be necessary to ensure that all students have a safe learning environment when back in the classroom. This project will provide 60 second graders with reusable water bottles, which will limit the number of trips to the sink. Additionally, each teacher will have a supply of back-up rain covers for students who do not have a jacket at school. Finally, individual packs of tissues will eliminate the need for a communal box of tissues. These items will help our students to better stay safe and social distance. Thank you!
