Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are creative, energetic, and eager to learn. They each learn in different ways, and I love watching them grow more confident when they are comfortable and engaged in the classroom. Many of my students focus better when they can move slightly while working, which is why flexible seating tools are so important for our learning environment.

The cushions will provide students with comfortable seating that helps them stay focused during lessons, reading time, and independent work.

The rubber bands for the chair legs will give students a quiet and safe way to move their feet while working, helping improve concentration and reduce distractions. These resources will create a more supportive classroom where students can feel comfortable, calm, and ready to learn every day.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
