My Students

I am a kindergarten teacher for the past 4 years. I love teaching these sweet babies. They love to learn and have fun doing it. They are full of energy and are always up for learning. In kindergarten we teachers always have to be on our toes and ready to pull stuff out of our hat to keep them engaged. My students are sweet, curious and make me want to be a even better teacher than the day before.

My Project

I have been teaching kindergarten for 4 years . I love teaching the young ones because I love to see their growth in a school year. I am always looking for ways to keep them engaged and comfortable . I believe, and have witnesssed, that if they are not engaged or comfortable it is hard for them to learn what you are teaching them . The materials that I have chosen would help with different seating (chair wise) in the classroom. The seating that I have chose for my students are wobble chairs and the exercise balls that are used for sitting on. The reason I need these in my room is this will give the kids the opportunity to move around some while sitting in their seat. Children with ADHD do well in this type of seating, along with other students . My students sit in hard plastic chairs during the day while at school. The different sitting will help with them being more comfortable . This will also help with mood and behavior .
