Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As I’m approaching my 5th year teaching there are many things that I have researched to be the most effective teacher possible. In order to achieve this, I have found that having flexible seating in the classroom for all of my students would be a good place to begin. Students learn in so many different ways, and having a comfortable and safe place to sit and learn shows to be beneficial.

If I am able to raise money, I will be purchasing many different seating arrangements for my students.

This ranges from bean bags to floor lap desk. I will be putting much of my own money into this project, but any help would be greatly appreciated by not only me, but my students who are able to maximize their learning.
