Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I love my students desire to be independent scholars. They attend a Title I school. They are a diverse loving group of students. Each day they arrive at school with laughter and determination to become self-sufficient. Be their heroes, please.

My Project

My students all have diverse needs, each one strives for independence from learning their letters, their numbers, holding a pencil, to being able to wash their hands.

Repetition is key for them, their energy levels are high, which makes sitting in standard school chairs uncomfortable and difficult for them.

Being able to vary their seating will help to increase their ability to focus and will improve their overall learning.

The seating will be distributed throughout their work stations so that all can find the seat that best supports their success.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
