My classroom is a mod/severe self-contained classroom. Majority of my students have medical diagnosis that hinder their ability to grasp their education independently. My job is to ensure that they achieve the utmost independence and the best education that I can provide. Many of my students require assistance to self-regulate, to make choices, to write, to read. Many of them have the knowledge but struggle to articulate that knowledge. Some students are visually impaired, others are non-verbal, others have sensory issues. There is no one way to describe my students, they are eager and hungry for knowledge and the ability to share what they know.
