Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come into the library, check out their books, and stay for the next 30 minutes. Fortunately, our school library has a very spacious area for hanging out and reading. Unfortunately, all the chairs are one size for grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. They may be fine for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students, but for our youngest ones with smaller bodies, these seats are just too big. Their only choice is the one-size-fits-all chairs. This flexible type of alternative seating provides more freedom to change positions to suit an individual student’s size and needs.
