Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my classroom are a diverse bunch. Some students live in the neighborhood, and the others are bused to our school from the various neighborhoods in our district. Our school has an ELL program in which many of my students participate.

Many of my students come from financially challenged families and they qualify for free or reduced lunch at school.

These children are excited to come to school and spend quality time with their peers in a supportive learning environment.

My Project

Organization is an important skill in fourth grade, but many of my students need help in this area. We work with many folders, notebooks, workbooks, and textbooks. Not all of these items fit into the students' desks. We need Seat Sacks to hold the students' folders and other supplies.

Seat Sacks will greatly improve the organization and efficiency in our classroom.

Seat Sacks will keep items off of students' desks and off of our classroom floor. In this way, we will have more work space and a neater learning environment. Organization in the classroom leads to greater success in school and in life!
