Organization is an important skill in fourth grade but many of my students need help in this area. We work with many folders, notebooks, workbooks, and textbooks. Not all of these items fit into our students' desks. We need Seat Sacks to hold the student folders, notebooks, and pencil cases. Seat Sacks would greatly improve the organization and efficiency of our classroom. Besides organization skills, my students also need to develop their communication skills and team work, which we can achieve with classic board games. During rainy days, our students spend their recess time indoors. I want my students to have the opportunity to spend time with their classmates playing board games. Board games, such as Monopoly, Connect Four and Chess, will help to develop analytical thinking and strategy skills. HedBanz, Life, and Guess Who will also help my students develop their communication and enrich their vocabulary. Organization, communication, and strategic thinking are life skills. All of these requested resources will help us to achieve these goals.
