My Students

We live in a small community, where students come from home lives and backgrounds of all kinds. Our classroom is a happy place to be. We all treat each other with respect and kindness, and we celebrate one another's differences.

The students at our school thirst for knowledge and are truly eager to learn.

They come in each day ready and excited to see what the day holds. They seek opportunities to challenge themselves, both in and out of the school setting.

Our classrooms need a fresh start!

The world is changing. Education in changing. With learning becoming more fast-paced in public schools, how can we expect students to sit in hard chairs at old rickety desks all day long, while learning with just paper and pencil?

My students are 21st-century learners! They are eager to learn and need to move around. They are HANDS-ON learners. They've got lots of energy and are desperate for movement!

We have just eliminated large tables and chairs in our classroom to help give the students more choice and comfort. So far we love it, but there are lots of improvements to be made. We have limited seating availability, so we would love to get some more options in here. The kids would love to have more of these seats to help them get energy out as their brains are learning!
