My school is a top-ranked school in my state, but that does not mean that all my students are at the top of their game in academics. The students that I teach are as diverse in their learning capabilities as the diversity in the different counties in my state. The honors students that I have are ready for anything I put before them and are eager to set the world on fire. What my special needs students lack in academic ability, they make up for with their effort.
The students that I teach are recovering from a devastating blow from Hurricane Florence, and they are doing so with great strength and character.
Besides sharing in their resiliency, my students share a yearning to do their best and to succeed in the 21st century. They work well with others and give their best efforts in all that they do.
My Project
Oftentimes in my classroom I will project power points and examples of lessons on my projector screen as a tool to help my students learn. They also display their projects and work through my projector to share with their classmates. The problem is that my screen is too small for the projector. Several inches of crucial information blurs and falls onto the board where it cannot be seen clearly.
With a 100-inch screen, my students can focus on the lessons that we are learning and can display their own work in a more professional manner.
They will no longer have to try to figure out what is on the outside of the screen. Their focus will be on the information instead.
