My Project

Today's students experience an enormous amount of screen time. Computers, phones, TVs, and more dominate the free time of many children. Even classroom time involves the use of screens.

Hands-on learning time is of extreme importance to the education of our children.

Building and experimenting with many materials allows students a real-life experience that screen time cannot provide. My goals is to teach students that there is more to learning and life that looking at/interacting with a screen.

My students thrive by doing. Many do not get learning experiences outside of the classroom. These STEM kits and projects will provide them with learning opportunities that will expand their knowledge base and peak their curiousity about the world around them.
