This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Young students love their teachers and what better way to tell them Thank You than having them write out a thank you and drawing their favorite activity with their teacher this year. They really enjoy scratch art and will be the perfect way to end my career as I’m retiring this year after 27 years in education. It’ll be fun sharing their experiences.

My goal is to get them writing and thinking/reflecting on school and wonderful activities that make learning fun.

We will brainstorm key words to help them write a sentence and brainstorm fun activities that happened for each class throughout the year. I look forward to sharing their results. It will be a great way to teach them gratitude for all their teacher has done for them.
