My Students

I am fortunate enough to work with a wide variety of students as a speech language pathologist. My students have a variety of strengths and skills that make them all individually unique and special!

Therapy should be functional, fun, and relatable!

My students love playing and expressing their creativity. There are language opportunities in every game and toy, and my students love to explore those opportunities! Games and activities make my student's engaged in therapy. Engaged students make for learning students!

My Project

These materials will make a difference in my student's lives by providing fun and exciting new ways to target their speech and language goals. Fun activities increase the student's "buy in" to therapy and increase their motivation. Games also provide great opportunities to build friendships through team work and turn taking.

These games and activities will bring big smiles to the faces of my students!

They will love earning time on the board game, pretending to prepare a meal with the toy food, and describing mystery items. With these toys, I can target expressive language, syntax, receptive language, and pragmatic language deficits. Students tire of drill, they need to have fun while learning! I can't wait to implement these activities and games into therapy!
