Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my students are curious, resilient, and learn best through hands-on experiences.

Many of my K–2 learners have autism, language delays, and sensory needs, but they shine when given engaging, meaningful opportunities to explore and learn.

These sensory bins will help students build communication, fine motor, literacy, math, and social skills while also supporting self-regulation and focus. The materials provide calming sensory input and interactive learning opportunities that make academics more accessible, motivating, and successful for every learner in our VE classroom. Every child deserves meaningful learning opportunities.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
