My Students

I am a Traditional Kindergarten Teacher with a fun-filled classroom of 4 and 5-year-old students. These kids love to learn and be in the classroom with new peers.

TK students are eager to learn and always try their best.

Students' language, math, and social skills grow every day. Our town, in Butte County, has faced its fair share of challenges. We've had flood warnings, the Camp Fire, and now the pandemic. Young TKers show our town the positivity in everyday life. They remind us that there is hope and excitement every day.

My Project

Students are born curious. In Transitional Kindergarten, our four and five year old's minds are like sponges, they take in as much as they can. Students love learning in class and exploring the world around them. Our light table has quickly become a favorite in our classroom. The possibilities for learning and playing with the light table are endless.

Adding x-rays to our light table will let students explore details of real skeletons.

Our students will love to help inspect new x-rays and determine what each is. They will be able to use the x-rays in dramatic play and health checkups. The possibilities for pretend play are endless.
