The students at our school are inquisitive, eager to learn, and inspired to navigate their educational journeys. However, there are often obstacles that stand in their way from achieving up to their full potential.
Our school's students are passionate, creative, and resilient.
Our school's core values are Perseverance, Resilience, Integrity, Discipline, and Empathy. Students exhibit these values day in and day out.
While almost all of our students come from low-income homes they are deserving of a world class education that is not limited to a budget that does not allow for them to have access to materials that feed their desires to become productive citizens in a global society!
My Project
The students of our school are thirsting for knowledge! They are inquisitive and ready to investigate the world around them.
While budgets often limit and dictate to school leaders what aspects need the most focus, things like STEM often get left out.
This is unfortunate because in an ever changing world it is key that students engage in STEM activities. There are key lessons that can be learned and carried with students as they develop.
This project is seeking to help the school get STEM materials to allow our students to ask questions and conduct experiments about the world around them.
The materials in this project will be used to reinforce lessons in Science class. Such as, the flashlights will help with stimulating the phases of the moon. The other items will be used to explore pH balance, the five senses, erosion, and other hands on learning experiences!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
