My students need magnetic pattern block builders to investigate geometry and build 3 D projects.

My Students

We are a low socioeconomic school where all children receive a free breakfast and lunch. We also send home weekend snack packs so students will have food over the weekends. Our students are being raised in a variety of family configurations. Many are being raised by grandparents.

We like to move, we love to explore and love lots of positive attention.

We like to build and share our thinking with others. We are excited about school and love to learn new things.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door!

What will we build and how will the pieces fit together?

The chain reaction set will give us so many opportunities to do critical thinking and to test so many trial runs to our projects. The magnetic geometric pattern blocks will help us to build many creative figures and experiment with shapes. We already love building with Legos! The chance to create a project that we can use interactively will only make Legos better.

We are so excite to get to design, build and share our critical thinking skills with our class. We will be working in teams so we will have to learn how to work together to finish our projects.
