My Students

My students are incredibly intelligent and hard workers. They are making the best of a fully virtual learning environment. I am excited and inspired to provided rigorous resources to continue to foster their education, even if done in a virtual environment.

My Project

This will help me to build a library of resources that could be used both virtually and in person, particularly for AP Environmental Science. This is a course I have never taught before until this year, (and am doing so fully virtual at the moment). The Virtual Lab kits through Carolina will supply my tenth grade biology students with an opportunity to do labs for this school year that they wouldn’t otherwise get to do, especially with Flash being removed soon. Most of the free virtual labs that we have used in the past will be disappearing. I am hoping that with your support, I can obtain these resources to allow them a more authentic science experience.
